That looked deliberate. He had a lane he could - and should have used - but chose to swerve into you. Hope the police have seen this and if I was employing his services he'd be dismissed and for good reason.

Yes, there’s a cycle Lane if that’s what you can call a gutter, and this cyclist is traveling much faster than the other cyclists so he quite right to be where he is. The car driver obviously has a problem with other road users and thinks it’s acceptable to cut up the cyclist. All of that and the car didn’t gain anything, just got to the next traffic jam earlier. He really shouldn’t be driving for a living and the police should take a serious look at it. And no, I’m not a cyclist but do give them room in this overcrowded city.

Perhaps because the cycle lane consists for 50% of the gutter. Cycling infrastructure in the uk is probably the worst of entire Europe. Apparently in Belgium we can't complain.
