It seems the driver was assuming the oncoming rider would pull in and let him enter the passing point; however it's clear the rider didn't do this, possibly because they had their partner riding behind and felt the driver's speed and lack of space risked a collision. I agree with the driver for being confused - what I do not agree with is the way they dealt with it. In short, I think the driver acted like an arrogant, self-entitled moron. Furthermore if it's true that he did use his car as a weapon then then that's just further reason for not to drive and to report this to the police. No place on OUR roads (that's all of us, not just you Mr. Wales spokesperson) for this behaviour.
