Why did they allegedly drive onto it? And have you ever soon how quickly nature can repair itself? I had a load of sand in my garden, for months on end..all sealed up in heavy bags. I recently got it moved and the grass underneath was dead..just raw soil. It didn't take long for the grass to grow back again. And if it's a rugby pitch then doesn't the same apply?

What I mean is, if it's a rugby pitch then there's a good chance the pitch will be 'damaged' to a similar or even worse extent. I did rugby once and only once due to the risk of physical injury (guy decided to hang his entire weight on my neck). After a while the pitch was mud-bath..but it still grew back mate. Don't worry.
