@Alarmed from Aberdeen. Yes indeed. I am one of those cyclists who ordinarily NEVER goes through a red light. I do this because if I am going to ask the police to prosecute drivers whom I catch breaking the law (and I'm currently on about ten prosecutions per week), then my behaviour has to be above reproach. I have gone through a red on two occasions since I started the London commute. One was when I was being chased by a lorry driver (who was subsequently convicted of assault), and the other was in that video, for similar reasons.

Here is the evidence from your own video. I do not need special powers. This frame is when you glanced over your shoulder having turned right through the red light.
The blue and red cars were first in the turning lane as you passed them. You can now see them turning. No van in sight. Unless the van then teletransported himself through those vehicles it is clear he did not chase you through the red light as you claim.
And again I ask. Why no audio? You are clearly hiding something.

Sorry, but your own video evidence shows you glancing over your shoulder after you ran the red light. The cross traffic was moving across the junction by this time and there was no sign of the van having turned ahead of them through the red light.
And shy no sound? What have you got to hide? No doubt verbally antagonising the poor van driver when all he wanted was to be left in peace to eat his Lion Bar.

Maybe the threat of a lunatic who was so consumed by rage he was driving headlong into oncoming traffic while shouting obscenities. I would not have stopped and placed myself at risk of a road rage attack.

Looking at my expertly annotated photo we can see that the moronic van driver is eating his lunch, looking and ranting at the cyclist as his van proceeds along the opposing lane and an oncoming car has to take action to avoid a head on collision by entering the mandatory cycle lane. Well done, you are indeed famous. Hopefully this has been reported to the police too.

I happen to be a police officer and I find this comment highly offensive. We are stretched to the limit and dealing with a single incident like this takes more time and resources than you might imagine. We have to prioritise. The accusation that we are bone idle is ridiculous. I suggest you do not contact us if you are really in need. I have identified you from your descriptions and youtube channel so will be on the lookout.
