Everyone saying the driver is in the wrong, is in the wrong themselves... We all know that Audi drivers take priority and have right of way regardless of the situation at all times - it is in the Highway Code I believe.

You're lucky the cyclist was able to get out the way. You're also lucky you were dealing with such a mild-mannered cyclist..under the circumstances I'd be very angry with you, driver. Your driving there appeared to be terrible, same for your attitude in general. Belt up before you kill someone?

Did anything else happen with this driver prior to this video? See, I really don't understand their driving or their attempted justification for it. Is it them who is revving the engine behind you, before they passed?

Looks deliberate to me. HE is moving left across the cyclist as he passes.

I can understand someone making a mistake, but this is just crazy..it looks intentional. Did the driver imply the cyclist would have gone even closer to the car in front? Which would be legal, although perhaps not advisable (ref: filtering). I just don't understand the driver's desire to get nowhere fast, and to risk lives doing it.

I also think it would have been better to ride primary position here; however, judging by the driver's speed and proximity together with their obvious dislike of the cyclist or cyclists, there wasn't much time if any to take up that position.

So I'm not trying to do what the trolls do on here and polarise this situation into a cyclist vs driver scenario. From any perspective I can't see the rationale in over-taking here. It's simply too dangerous.

What a lovely old man, his grand children will be so proud of him if they see this video. Karma will have her day.
