Rate Driver
Silver Astra Van driven by a lad in his early 20s. He undertook me and several cars way over speed limit and in a bus lane (camera car was there so most likely got clocked, so he swerved back in cutting up cars in front). I was behind him and noticed him texting on his phone.
He barely looked at the road, he almost hit a family who were crossing at the time. I stayed behind him leaving plenty of distance, got to a junction and suddenly he took his sunglasses off and looked at me through his rear mirror, think he thought he was working for the mafia or something, started giving the hand signals and the attitude.
The little mong kept hanging back, sped up and slammed brakes on for good few minutes, changing lanes, waving us over to get us next to him, he wanted to pull into the side of us to try and swipe us into oncoming traffic.
He had his head outside the window, looking back at us, he looked suspiciously like a Spaniel on a day out, maybe more of a Jack Russell looking at his facial expressions.
The whole thing was caught on dash cam and for once I'm handing the footage over to the police. I've never bothered doing that before but he deserves it.
It's a shame the van wasn't signed up or I'd have happily sent the footage to his employer. It gives people like me (young van driver) a bad rep, an whilst I'm at it at least get a decent van, and maybe give it a clean once in a while.
We were on an urgent trip to the vets and because of the idiot in front we almost didn't make it there, and he almost put a few others in hospital.
