The issues seem confused to me. The real question is why the van suddenly stopped well short of the roundabout with nothing in front of him. Why was this? Was he looking for a confrontation?

Sorry to break this to you, but your video clearly shows that you have to give way, and there's no sign of anything that says he has to - looks perfectly like his right of way, and you're just being a bellend.
