The bus driver didn't flash them until a full 2 seconds after you had already sounded your horn. You selfish, impatient, inconsiderate aggressive, foolish and poor driver.
It's unfortunate that an unmarked traffic police car was not behind you. As if there had been, they would've fined you £30 for inappropriate and aggressive use of your horn.

I agree with the instructor. We all had to learn once and were hopeless right at the beginning. It doesn't hurt to wait for a few seconds while the learner makes his manoeuvre.
