You should have hit the brakes the moment they passed.
But things like this..are the reasons I hate cycling in this country compared to others. The whole system is a mess because it is based on roads that were only designed for horses and carts going at moderate speeds at best. The country is going backwards in trying to force more people into an ever-decreasing space and I can understand people when they say enough is enough I'm out of this shit because it's constant.
