The cyclist could have pulled into the large gap to the left of the road visible at the start of the video and let the car past (the gap between the parked silver car and the red smart car, costing the cyclist zero time or effort), but he doesn't do so and forces the car to have to remain behind him for another couple of hundred metres. And then the cyclist slams his brakes on to confront the driver when the car beeps! Very cavalier riding by the cyclist which provoked the car driver, who has then had red-mist and violently overreacted.

If she wasn't trying to tail-gate him she might have been able to stop in a more professional, adult manner. The irate driver appears to be way too close, blasting the horn.. In that situation it would not be unreasonable for a cyclist to panic. The car is being used as a weapon (just like her mouth and her fists).

If someone is too close, shoulder check, then reduce speed gradually (to deter the clown). Then signal, before coming to a complete stop. If you can get to a safer spot away from them - your life is more important than their stupidity.
From the start it appears this woman portrayed an abhorrent ignorance of The Highway Code, as well as a complete disregard for your welfare. She then continues to try and over-take when it's clear to anyone with an ounce of sense that it is neither safe nor practical. Now imagine a child running between those cars or the cyclist falling over. Do you think someone of that ilk would be able to stop in time? Don't get near them unless you have to.
And to this woman. Go ahead and make a complaint to the police if you feel you are so right. Remember to show them THIS video including your apparent threats of violence against the person for exercising their lawful right to film a public place. Come back and report your findings..I get the feeling you might be very surprised at the outcome.
