Those give way markings are advisory only. Driver did nothing wrong. You should have anticipated his actions and taken action to avoid a confrontation. Instead you left your lane and attempted to overtake in an aggressive manner. What was the rush anyway, it only held you up for a few seconds.

Please tell me you have shown this footage to the police as you can see that the driver could easily see you. I am amazed you came off uninjured as when i was watching this video i had cringes in my groin area expecting you to be flattened on the road, Seriously i had my legs crossed and could feel the impact but thankfully you had a lucky escape, Give us an update as to what comes of this but please do not let these idiots off with this
