If anyone ever wants to see the uncaring and sometimes abusive attitudes the old and the vulnerable have to face in this country, then take either shopping.. walk behind them so it doesn't look like you're together. The attitude of some people is simply appalling: huffing, puffing, mumbling, swearing and giving them 'daggers' because the person you're with can't help being slow and because they just want five minutes worth of freedom in their limited life.
And it's getting worse. We've seen the mobs during the Black Lives Matter 'protests'.. we've seen entitled youths (not all youths of course) thinking the world owes them something; that the older generation is this or that, and must be erased from the history books.
It makes my blood boil it does, this attitude of me, me and me coming first and if I can't get what I want or if someone else makes an innocent, human mistake then I have the right to go from zero to rage in a heartbeat. I see this on the roads every single day.

Hi. Thanks for your post. My mum has dementia and she often wonders out onto the road so my dad has to go out and bring her back in so she's not a risk to herself and other road users. She must have got in their way whilst my dad was running out to bring her back in the house which resulted in them hurling abuse at her. My dad stood up for her so they decided to attack him, leaving him knocked out cold on the road whilst they sped off.

These two scumbags of human beings attacked my father whilst he was walking with my mother, leaving him to fall head first to the ground laying unconscious. They have been reported to the police along with these pictures. Please be on the look out for the two as they are armed and dangerous. I hope my father recovers and justice is served. Words can't express how empty I feel right now typing this. My father is in hospital right now suffering from a fractured skull and internal brain bleeding.
