That's exactly what I did. You can see from the pics that I was overtaking a lorry. Bit daft to just assume I was lane-hogging.

You can clearly see that I was overtaking a lorry. I moved back over to lane 1 as soon as I could. And even if I had been lane-hogging it wouldn't be an excuse to tailgate.
