If what you say is true then can I just say, thanks for caring. A lot of people don't. Oh, and that pic..do you have video footage? It's all taken from a dash cam isn't it? I hope justice is served. I've had stuff thrown at me especially when I'm on a push-bike (the last time soaking my clothes and hurting my arm, causing me to almost come off and go under the wheels of another car). Please keep us posted, yeah? Take care.
The driver of this car, and his yobbo chums, were driving along the a406, by Walthamstow, throwing eggs, cigarettes and packaging at drivers for fun. They pelted by driver's side and tried to seed off. I gave chase, called 999, left the police the details.
Wouldn't have mattered whether I was a pregnant woman, elderly driver or disabled road user, they were targeting anyone in an attempt to make others swerve/crash.
If you're reading driver, maybe see you in court yeah? :)
This is why the right to film in public is a very important one, and that it should never be taken for granted or given away. See, filming can be both a defense mechanism and deterrent to your every-day asshole. The law..the state..it films us all yet it often conveniently forgets to protect us where most needed. Our own eyes, ears - and cameras - must fill that void. Without these rights we lose our country; not just to assholes throwing eggs but to a state that, as history has shown, would try to get away with whatever it could. Including murder. So to the assholes throwing eggs at the person filming? Karma is a bitch, right? The same to chavs who hang around estates thinking they can do what they like..thanks for the views. People like us also earn a bit of extra pocket-money from them, in some cases. Getting harder and harder for these assholes to act with impunity. So folks..grab those cameras and get filming. Don't sympathsie with people who think they can terrorize society in this manner.
FAO OY11 NYO. Some terrible people about these days, right? I mean, what if someone did something to that BMW you were driving? Doubt you'd like it.. not that I am advocating someone throw eggs or scratch the sides, loose the tyres down or smash mirrors, wind-screens or any other random acts of a similar nature. Perish the thought. But there's a lot of it about these days isn't there? I mean, just like there's a lot of idiotic pricks throwing items at other drivers, causing significant alarm and risk to their lives. What utter morons, eh?
