If you are a Blue Badge holder, it is for your use and benefit only.
It must only be displayed if you are travelling in the vehicle as a driver or passenger and are personally making use of a parking concession.
Don’t allow other people to use the badge to do something on your behalf, such as shopping or collecting something for you, unless you are travelling with them.
You should not allow people without a disability to take advantage of the benefits from your badge while you sit in the car.
You must never give the badge to friends or family to allow them to park for free, even if they are visiting you.
An individual Blue Badge is given to a person, not a vehicle. This means the badge holder can use it whenever he/she travels as a driver or passenger – it doesn’t matter who owns the vehicle. Only the person the badge has been issued to can use it and must be in the vehicle when it is used.
I think he's right to park in a disabled spot ... because anyone who drives an electric car especially a tesla must be mentally disabled and should be taken away in a square wheeled van
I’m the owner of the vehicle, what you failed to notice is that I came back to my car with my terminally ill mother, who was in a wheel chair and had been using public transport. She wasn’t feeling well and I was in a panic to get her home, so may have forgotten to put the badge on display. I had other things in my mind.
I would therefore request that this is removed, and would like to state that not everything is as clear as you make out on here.
for the ashole who replied on 6-11-18 @16.02,
if you read the diver of the cars comment
he states he was with his monther,
so under all the rules he can use the badge whist his mother is with him,
so stop being a twat & accept your wrong & the driver was correct & if you thought of others & fell off your high horse you would realise your cluess
You had no right to park there. AS YOUR MOTHER WAS NOT USING YOUR CAR AT THE TIME. so YOU CAN NOT USE THE BADGE ANYWAY. you were taking the PISS so SHUT UP. oh and by the I have reported you to Northampton Council for misuse of a Blue badge. so you will be getting a call from them soon
in all honesty I don't care if this is removed or not, I've said my piece and stated the facts, if you wish to dispute them then that's fine as I don't care, my friends and those important to me know the facts.
And for the record, my mother is 63 and has emphysema., so her ability to walk is limited due to not being able to breathe, when she gets very short of breath then she has to be in a wheelchair, and use the oxygen mask, which if you observed when she got into my car I was there for 5 minutes while I set that up for her.
I presume you're the owner given you seem quite excited over such a mundane vehicle.
Explain why somebody posted a picture of you parked in a disabled bay at a train station during rush hour without a disabled parking permit.
Do you feel entitled to park in a disabled bay as you are too lazy to walk the extra distance or did you genuinely not understand that disabled parking bays are for disabled people?
Well someone knows fuck all. They have been reported to the council not the police. Or can't you read the comments. You idiot. It's council that have power to take it away from this selfish arsehole who thinks they do what the fuck they like. Well they can't YOU CAN NOT USE A BLUE BADGE IF THE PERSON WHO'S NAME IS ON IT IS NOT IN THE CAR WITH YOU.
You do realise not all disabilities are visible? The police will do fuck all about this they'll probably just laugh and realise how stupid you are. Get a life ffs.
