Jeremy I think the comments about it being a dangerous junction are correct. It's on a bend, with very fast two-way traffic. Hence the reason why all road users - not just the one's pull out of the junction - need to apply extra caution.
Now the following is pure speculation. Look at how quickly that lorry is going and how late it indicates. I put it to you, was it the case the lorry saw what was about to happen (the white car approaching too fast), and too emergency action? I don't know. But I do find the speeds of all drivers here to be somewhat considerate.
She must have made the assumption that there was nothing behind the lorry. Comments on youtube about dangerous junction are bollocks, at least in this case. You can't blame anything but her driving.
