If any driver feel frustrated in this situation then think about how it feel for cyclist every day.. it is like this every day for cyclist, you car driver take up road and in big city car everywhere holding cyclist up. And cyclist more at risk. Every day it is critical mass of cars in this country and cycles suffer for it..

Good point. Plus the damage from cycles is practically negligible yet they anyone old enough to be taxed has to pay for road upkeep through local and general taxation. So in essence cyclists are paying a disproportionate amount of tax. I drive and cycle and the latter really opened my eyes up in terms of just how many people I've noticed have such scant regards for cyclist welfare. I would say this is worse than the times I've seen idiots on bikes; who, statistically, will be the first one to come off worse including being dead. I've been driven at, spat at, had objects thrown at me and violence inflicted because I was doing nothing more than ride in accordance with the Highway Code and to the best of my ability. And I've met countless people in real life and online who time and time again say, just how bad the facilities are in this country and just how dangerous, aggressive and violent a lot of the people seem to be. I think that at it's root, the problem is simply that this country is over-crowded and under-funded..but what better do you expect from a corrupt government that answers to the tune of the EU.. which in turn answers to the tune of private offshore banking interests? This government doesn't want solutions - it merely wishes to profit from misery.
