No, the light showed up amber as i was actually at the lights and i have dashcam to prove. If i'd have hit the brakes i'd have overshot the lights & you're taught you can go through in that situation as you're too close to the lights to stop.
Finally i was not tailgating. YOU went through the red light so you could follow me and YOU were tailgating me. Now i can see why. Dickhead.

Actually I came along Morecambe Road and had to wait at the lights. When the lights started changing I saw you go through red on Owen Road just as the lights started changing from red on Morecambe Road.
I was behind you at a safe distance over Skerton Bridge and I saw you were in a hurry weaving between lanes.
I didn’t have to go through a red light to be behind you as I approached these lights from Morecambe Road.
Someone else was in the fast lane on Morecambe Road which was clear and he passed me at speed as I set off and also went rather fast over Skerton Bridge. So this may have been the one who was tailgating you.
