Things like this are the reasons commuting can be so stressful in this country. Every day it's the same shit; not that I expect it, but that it never fails to deliver.
Yes, most people are fine, they don't act like these morons..but the minority that do are, on account of the population density and laws, a very significant minority. I have been to other countries with more stupid drivers, and even then, in many cases it's not the same or similar until you get to the big cities. There just seems to be something in this country whereby a certain portion of the population gets into a metal killing machine and thinks the laws don't apply to them, and they can do what they like. They take their aggression out on the road and on other people and every single day I see situations in which they almost kill. No doubt there are situations they do.
It's also a self-feeding issue. Many parts of the UK are simply too crowded and with very poor public transport and despite all the promises the problems are getting worse, not better. Rat run after ran run. I honestly can realise why some people save up and piss off because it's just constant aggro irrespective of whether you're going down the shops, to visit friends or to work. Something has gone very wrong with this country's attitude to social cohesion and decent people are literally left fending for themselves and fighting for their lives because of it.
