You can see the traffic moving off before you begin to pass the lorry…why continue? Whilst his reaction was unwarranted, you can see the frustration with a cyclist cutting in front of a slow starting vehicle just as it begins to pick up speed, which then makes it a pain to re-overtake you. You also move onto the pavement for no apparent reason, which always confuses me. Cyclists want to be shown respect on roads (as they should be) but move onto the pavement whenever it suits them. Both are nobheads in this instance, the lorry should have let you pass but it doesn’t take much to extend empathy for motorists and make it easier for them to overtake you- you know that you’re slow moving and a pain to get around.
