Perhaps he isn't familiar with the area and simply got it wrong and made a mistake. Obviously it wasn't good driving but it sure seems harsh to be stopped by the police for it.

If it was a mistake then you would expect him to at least slow down a bit, indicate right and then make sure it's clear before proceeding. Perhaps even a thank you afterwards as well. The road marking look very clear so if he did make a mistake, it's because he wasn't paying attention. I don't think it's at all harsh for the police to stop him about the manner of his driving.

Mistake? Lol. He probably does this all the time and gets away with it. It's good the police noticed what he did and stopped him. I bet he only got told off (no points or fine) but at least next time he may think twice about being a prick.

Can I just show my respect to those police who did what they are supposed to do in such situations where most think they are too important or busy to "have a word" with inconsiderate drivers.
