No, it was a routine scan, two months before labour/delivery.
The driver had a car on his side of the road, but thought he could just bully his way through because of the larger vehicle.
Even if he ha been completely in the right, NOTHING excuses threatening anyone, least of all a heavily pregnant woman. And no, we missed the appointment, and when she was finally seen by the Doctor she had to be prescribed anti-anxiety medication as she genuinely thought she was at risk of losing our baby due to a number of panic attacks since.

This Shorts lorry decided that rather than just wait behind the car parked on his side of the road for a few seconds while I passed he would pull out directly in front of me, forcing me to do an emergency stop. He then purposefully parked his lorry in the centre of the road (see photo) and made rude gestures, rather than back up and allow myself and the cars behind me through (Please note I was unable to back up due to the queue of cars behind me).
The driver then exited the cab with a large Maglite style torch and threatened both myself and my heavily pregnant wife, whom I was taking to the hospital at the time.
I would encourage you all to avoid this company (http://www.shorts-group.co.uk/) as their workmen are happy to brazenly threaten a woman seven months into her pregnancy with a huge torch in broad daylight in front of onlookers.
