OP here, Im guessing that person put the cardboard in the way so she wouldn’t get blinded by the sun, except it was overcast and there was no sun for atleast 30 minutes prior. And also being blinded by the sun or having something blocking your window wouldn’t make much of a difference when you crash into someone.

A BMW Driver nearly crashed into me because they have a piece of cardboard blocking the driver side window.
