The road sign is hardly poor is it ? . The reason it's there and huge is to stop people doing what the Corsa driver did .
Regardless of any misunderstanding it's still the Corsa drivers fault .

One of the first proper videos on here in days .
Awful piece of driving from the corsa if they don't understand what they did it wouldn't be a huge leap to assume that's how they drive on a constant basis .
Hope the damage isn't to bad to you car .

I've not had a chance to have a good look due to being out most of the day, by feel its about 15 inches of scuff. I'll photograph it and send it to my insurer. I was a little taken aback by their response as they were and older couple. That's why Ieft it and just hope they are insured... Still an awful bit of driving and to speed check me in a low gear because they got beeped was a low blow. With age does not obviously come experience. Just belligerence...

Video is only up because they refused to stop and talk, technically an offence. But as they are not your typical youth Corsa drivers I took a chance with just the video evidence.

The actual live video if paused at 8 seconds shows very clearly what the lane priority is, I'm not local to the area and pay attention to road signs. The car reg is lcoal. The van, also indicating takes the lanes correctly. Inability to read the road does not negate the fact that I'm standing to foot the bill for two alloy wheel strikes. I'll stand my ground.

The actual live video if paused at 8 seconds shows very clearly what the lane priority is, I'm not local to the area and pay attention to road signs. The car reg is lcoal. I'd portion the blame on the road markings and layout.
Normally on a 3rd exit/right turn at roundabout you would take the right hand lane and indicate - that said the road signs state use both lanes for straight on (when straight on means A33 and not the 2nd exit Crockford Lane) - basically they missed one poor road sign (@9 secs) together with no actual road markings. Just before the video starts is a bus stop and prior to this are two roundabout signs with nothing declaring the junction flow - just looks like a normal roundabout sign(s)

I understand your frustration and concern but you must look at ALL the facts and understand that some drivers may not know the area.
If you look again at the "offending" car they are indicating which to me means they've misunderstood the junction layout

It's quite simple. It's not a game.
The council even draw lines for you to stay within, whether you're familiar with the area, road layout or not, lane discipline is paramount. If you cant read a sign, cant stay in your lane, don't know that there's someone in the lane you are lazily trying to enter into, frankly you should turn your keys in. The standard of driving in the UK is appalling, it's people like the Corsa driver that i am referring to. It's about time authorities started handing out serious penalties for the above.
