This truck is owned by Anthony Higgins based in Castleford.
I was cycling along the A655 approaching non-moving traffic when the driver decides to overtake and ended up cutting me up and forcing me to slam on (it was wet so I locked up). I managed to stop a foot away from his trailer (which was a German registered one). I sarcastically applauded the driver and we both carried on towards your depot. I decided to stop in the depot entrance to get the registration (he was entering) and he decided to roll backwards and roll his window down to confront me. I initially said nothing was wrong hoping for him to carry on. I eventually said that he had cut me up and caused me to lock up when he overtook (MGIF I'd say). His answer to that was that I was riding in the middle of the road. Even though I wasn't, it isn't an excuse to cut somebody up in a 44 tonne truck which could potentially kill people, especially those that are vulnerable. I am entitled to the full lane like any other vehicle and I think this is a poor excuse to cut me up.
I did start recording the conversation a little bit late with my phone. He kept telling me to go to the depot manager (I was tempted since he had annoyed me, however I decided against that as I was tired). I left it and carried on with my ruined ride.
He's a 'professional' driver so I'd have expected better of him. He should know about road grip and trailer length, then again I was apparently in the middle of the road according to the driver so that obviously makes it perfectly acceptable to scare somebody and cause them to lock up and have to swerve does it?

It has been over a week since this happened and the company are not interested at all as they have not replied to my email. That shows that they have zero customer service at all. I'd avoid Anthony Higgins Transport, based in Castleford (W.Yorks)
