Hope the guy on the bike wasn't hurt. No excuses for the tosser in the Fiesta but I saw it coming as an experienced biker (250k miles plus and still alive/uninjured). Plenty of time to take avoiding action. Plus our friend on the bike seemed to be doing a bit more than 30mph ( didn't see any repeaters). Defensive Riding is an essential skill these days. Consider every other road user as a pathological killer out to get YOU !!! Did our friend have his lights on (not seen when the bike was on the ground) ? It's a shame we have to get caught speeding to attend a speed awareness course. I did one recently as a result of just 1mph (yes - really !!!) over the limit and found it incredibly informative. Why aren't these courses available to non-offenders ? Hope you are OK mate and the Fiesta tosser's insurance fixed your bike (assuming he had any).
