To be fair, there was a gap. I was driving around 12 mph and I was not expecting this driver to exit. I had to evade him because I had cars behind me and also had to maneuvre to avoid crashing with the oncoming traffic. A bit scary but was avoidable. Close call.

Seabre don't try to mitigate what they did. There was traffic and they should have waited. They pulled out at the worst possible moment. Dozy and selfish, if it wasn't for you they'd have caused an accident.
