I think this is also a good example of why it is so dangerous to have idiots refusing to merge properly, forcing traffic on the motorway to brake. You might be able to brake and avoid a collision but the person approaching from your rear might not. And then they hit you. Do you think a major re-design of merge lanes is in order? When I am in the States this is much less of a problem, they seem to have a better approach including lower speeds.
All that's going to do is bump up taxes to pay for major reconstruction. I've been in favour of mandatory driver re-training for years, because obviously none of these fuckwits know how to drive properly anymore.
Compulsory Driver Training every year or so, with the money going towards road upkeep and maintenance. Job done. Less dickheads.
SPEED AND STOPPING DISTANCE!! The person responsible for this crash is the driver of SB59 UTJ, if they had been aware of what was ahead and had maintained a safe distance this would never have happened – there is no excuse. It’s not rocket science.
That crazy son of a bitch pulling out in front of traffic caused this accident, The driver that ended up in front of Camera car/van/truck that rear ended the car that was in front was no doubt trying to avoid rear ending the camera car due to him emergency breaking in front of him, You know what a lesson has to be learnt here for all drivers.. SLOW! down people, I really hope nobody was injured and all escaped with the smallest of injuries if any of which i feel must have been at least a few, I really hope that someone got that idiots reg and reported them to the cops as they need the book thrown at them, Sincere well wishes to all concerned in this crash
Driving to fast potentially but whoever stopped to let the car merge caused this and IMHO both the merging car and the one who stopped to let them in needs to be held responsible and maybe asked to complete an advanced driver training course - sadly they'll probably get away with it an have no real comprehension of what danger they caused.
Hope karma is a bitch but also hope it's self inflicted and doesn't affect anyone else
