Funny how these raging commentators fail to see the oncoming traffic, as well as fail to see the obvious lack of requisite passing distance (at least as much room as a car and regardless of the whether rider is in primary or secondary position). The cyclist was warning the driver of these things - not having a go at them for the sake of it, not trying to "hold up traffic". The cyclist has a right to be on the road and the right to use the full lane where deemed appropriate and it is the driver's responsibility to over-take safely. If you don't understand this and don't respect other road users enough to treat the cyclist as an equal then the problem is YOU, not cyclists, not imaginary "Road" Tax, not your assumed entitlement to something you don't have over other people. YOU.

Your lack of not only spacial awareness but also the Highway Code is most telling. Tip: Just because you imagine you can do something, doesn't automatically mean you can. It's called living in fantasy land - try living by that rule instead of seeing things that don't exist..the roads will no doubt be that little bit safer for it.
Still living in denial? Ask any traffic cop or driving instructor what I'm talking about (it could be a hard lesson but as long as you come out of it safer and more competent then all the better). Mind how you go.

In this instance the passing distance was insufficient and because you clearly do not understand or respect this rule, you should take/re-take a test. People with your attitude are a danger to our roads and the people on them - it's YOUR responsibility to only pass if it is both safe and practical and NOT because you couldn't give a crap about other road users and want to turn to abuse to try and justify your own ignorant, moronic attitude!!
Read the Highway Code or don't drive. It's that simple. Blaming other people for your own failings won't help you when you kill someone. Don't like it? Simple. Don't drive.
