You control the gap at the front of your own car. In this clip it's clear that you slowed down to antagonise the driver behind. Sounding your horn and gesticulating to another driver to slow down moving away from you - which rule is that from?
Seems to me you're as bad as each other in this clip. Calm down.
SkribJohn, you're right. I do control the gap at the FRONT of my own car. This clearly is the rear. Hand signals should be well known for drivers to slow down. IF I had slammed on the brakes to let the car behind know that they were too close I'd have been rear-ended.
Didn't sound my horn, so I don't know where you're getting that from?? Fabricating now are we?
Didn't slow down to antagonise either, the gap in front was getting shorter for some reason unbeknownst to me (I presumed noon traffic) so I slowed down to increase the gap between myself and the car in front as Im not going to tailgate someone AND I didn't use the brake to slow down so as not to potentially make someone think I 'brake check'. I just didn't use the accelerator to the point where I felt the gap in front was at a safe distance.
& no need to calm down, I'm pretty calm. Its the driver with what looks like a child in the front seat that needs to calm down, back off and think about how close they drive to other drivers.
