This is disgraceful exploitation of laziness probably by someone with friends in high places (the shit authorities).
The Highway Code states that “Unless you are forced to stop your vehicle due to traffic congestion or giving way to a pedestrian crossing, it is a prohibition to stop or park your vehicle on the white zig zag road markings. Doing so will result in penalty points being placed on the drivers licence and a fine.”
