I got stopped by the Police for my drivers and passenger windows when they first got the mobile testing equipement to. I had limo black on my windows in the nineties.
I had to remove some tint on the spot, but they were good enough to let me test the factory glass afterwards and also tested the front windscreen too, just so we know how much visible light normal glass lets through. Like almost all modern cars the glass is so close to the legal limits that even the 10% almost clear UV tint would be an illegal addition. Basically there is no tint available that can legally be fitted to any modern vehicles front drivers and passengers windows, be it light smoke ultra light or any other tints. To put any tint on a front windscreen you would have to be stupid anyway. I've only ever seen that done once ot a car show, not on a road going car.

I'd be very suprised if the windscreen and front windows meet the UK legal requirements.

Should have stopped at the pedestrian crossing when the lights changed to amber rather than accelerate.

Hope the driver enjoyed the points and/or fine.
