I agree with you. The lorry driver did nothing wrong and even if the use of the horn was in reprimand it was well deserved. But it most likely stopped the Nissan from coming to the equivalent of an emergency stop in the lorry's path. In normal circumstances I would not have thought that the Nissan was going to turn left. I do wonder though, whether the Nissan reversed back!
