Wow, how petty can some people be? I like Ted's story about the garage seemingly having technical issues with the washer xDDD And as shown Arthur's few words of wisdom to SK05 OUF seemed to have done the trick. Hey SK05 OUF I got a suggestion too: you know that hose? Wash the bit between your ears..you might need extra pressure.

I had the same thing recently, I was next in que went to get my ticket and paid for it and when i got back some cheeky sod had reversed from the front of the car wash into the washing bay, I went into the garage and just as i asked the person on the till whos car had reversed into the car wash this old guy in front of me said it was his, I told him he has to wait in the que like everyone else and he replied with the words PISS off you little shit, The person on the till replied to the old twat sir you have to wait your turn, He said i have paid so tough luck, But we all had the last laugh as the old twat got half way through his wash and the garage manager turned off the car wash via big RED button and the guy waited 40 minutes until the manager turned it back on and reset the car wash which meant the old twat got a rinse but no soapy wash, He cam out raging and said he would sue the garage as he waited forever, The manager along with a very large que said sue the garage and we will call the police as to the foul language he was publicly displaying at everyone, He got the idea and said he would never come back to that garage ever again, We all got a top FREE car wash for being polite as well as being patient RESULT!

Gone to wash the car at Spar in Cam Glos, no one waiting to get into the car washing facility so parked next to the code reader and went to get a ticket.
Came back to the car and the chap who was washing his car in the hose and brush service next door was parking now behind my car. I asked him was he in the queue by any chance as if he was I'll reverse and let him go first.
All I got back was few insults which I spare you here and an intimidating threat 'that I am lucky he didn't take the air down of my tyres', to that I simply answered that this would be considered a crime and using threats can also be brought against him. He didn't say one more word and I reversed to let him in. One unpleasant piece of humanity.
