SK16 MVA The driver of this vehicle (works truck) drove dangerously, overtaking our car on the a96 on Monday morning at Morgan Mcveighs restaurant near Insch, when it clearly wasn’t safe. We had slowed off to allow a car coming towards us pull in to the restaurant. There was a line of vehicles coming towards us from the Inverness direction!
Why did he think it was safe to do this beggars belief.
He tooted the horn for us to brake to let him in with his truck! This alarmed our sleeping baby in the car and she was inconsolable. Absolutely raging!!

I hope you mean that you slowed down to avoid a collision with the turning car, and not that you intentionally yielded priority to it on an NSL road. If it's the latter, be thankful that your baby wasn't woken up by the truck smashing through your rear windscreen!
