Whilst i agree the guy was dangerous. I also do not think that you and the person in front should be sitting in the over taking lane... neither of you was overtaking at that point.
If you had both been in the left lane until ready to overtake he would have zoomed by on the right, illigally. But it would have reduced the risk.

The thing with this comment is that the drivers are progressing and catching up with the vehicle(s) on the left, seems that the traffic is moving slightly above the speed limit - still within the 10% + 3 usually allowed.
There is no excuse of the driver of the undertaking car,
The cars on the right are not in the wrong here, and people really do need to understand the definition of lane hogging, it's only lane hogging when there is nothing ahead to overtake, in this instance there is and the vehicles are closing the gap - moving over would have resulted in the gap being closed, and causing the camera cars to have to wait before moving out again, thus slowing down their progress.

Following this car, and it had already performed a very dangerous undertake at over 70MPH previously,. so knew he would do it again, which he does - nearly going into the back of another car, and then cutting up the one in the middle land and heading at over 100MPH into the right hand lane.

Dashcams work both ways. You have self incriminated by recording your own speed & poor standards of driving as you exceeding the speed limit to pace the vehicle in front. Heads up: The white lines are a set distance apart. Police count the lines to a set distance. They then do the math 'time & distance' & they have your speed. You also dangerously straddled, weaved across lanes, from the outside & inside lane with traffic merging from your left & tailgated.
