But on the funny side of things but not finding anything funny about this incident as this was earlier on your footage
DID! you notice the fucking guy washing his motor right of you at the very begining of your video and it was pissing down lol now that shows you the mentality of some drivers in that area but not all are the same but have to admit washing his motor whilst its pissing down makes one think of what people are thinking before they get into their motors,,, ooh its raining it will save the rinse i guess

I'm guessing by the way it screams around the bend the idiot has overtaken the black car.
Still no excuse to not stop
But knowing our judicial system the CPS (Crown Pathetic System) might get dangerous driving and failing to stop and report but he'll only get a fine of £230 and a 4 months ban because he needs his licence for work
If I was judge he'd be locked up for a few years and have his possessions seized and sold to pay compensation/repair costs/court and police time and have to retake a driving test and only drive vehicles with black boxes but then again I'm a believer in making a punishment worthy and fitting for the crime.

Funny you should mention that, stan. I was waiting for someone else to say it. My guess is either they were racing each other or the overtaker was simply being an idiot. I would also like to know whether or not that black car actually stopped. Wouldn't the natural reaction be one of shock..to stop and help..to quickly slow down, at the least?

Needs some double white lines on that bend. Looks like there's a junction right on the apex as well. The driver also had a high-vis jacket on, for what it's worth. I am also glad you are alright and the culprit has been charged. I doubt very much a cyclist or horse rider would have survived that.

Also forgot to mention. At the start of the video there's a guy washing a car near the bend. Hope he's seen this. Perhaps YOU saved HIS life here, because the way that silver car was going chances are he would have gone straight into that pedestrian.

July 2016, Driver charged with Dangerous Driving, Failing to stop and Failing to report. His car was still going. didn't even stop to heck if my partner was OK! Police arrested him the following day as a result of the dash cam footage. Best £50 I even spent. Nextbase 101.

This a is a video of a hit and run crash that occurred June 2016 in Fillongley near Coventry. My partner was heading to work when a car over took another car on a blind bend at speed. Loosing control and ending up on her side of the road. She tried to avoid the impact but he was travelling far to fast to stop. After the impact our car was disabled (£8500 damage) and the other driver did not even slow. The police viewed the video and identified the car. we were surprised to find out that the car was not stolen and was insured. My partner is still having issues related to injuries sustained (shoulder and elbow) the case against the driver went to court on the 29th November 2016 for dangerous driving,failing to stop and failing to report an accident. He received a 20 week suspended sentence. 20 month driving ban, 80 unpaid work and ordered to pay a fine. This has also had a emotional impact on my partner, such as Nightmares and made her nervous to be in a car.
