He shouldn't be driving a vehicle. His comprehension of the Highway Code, common courtesy and even common sense appear terrible. Furthermore he used his vehicle to try and intimidate other road users..I simply cannot believe he tried to over-take through that punch-point.
In fact, I'd go so far as to question whether he even has a valid driving license, let alone a license to ferry members of the public. Has his eyesight been checked? Has he been checked for anything else..alcohol? Drugs? Mental issues? Whatever his excuse, there is none. The risks he poses on the road unquestionably severe but thankfully more police forces are clamping down on people just like him. He should be made an example of for his own good and the safety of the public at large.

Don't get me wrong the Taxi driver was at fault but why does every lycra clad freak instantly claim "they tried to kill me" when they have an incident with an adult mode of transport.

With any issues regarding taxi drivers I suggest you raise an official complaint with the local taxi licencing council
They will do more proactive stuff (unless you suffer injury in which case the police will take interest (although he did jump a red light so I'd still contact the police)
