I understand the anger from the cyclist
1 - cyclists are allowed to filter when safe to do so
2 - V390 HJH decided half way through the traffic lights sequence to turn left - had he had his indicator on prior to the cyclist arriving the cyclist would have been able to make a better call
3 - V390 HJH pulled forward whilst the lights were still red ignoring the cyclist on the inside
4 - V390 HJH the chased down the cyclist
5 - V390 HJH overtook in a no overtaking place (solid white line (visible @ 3.16) with arrows (visible @ 3.10) )
V390 HJH needs to lose their driving licence until they can pass an advanced driving test whilst also receiving a Sect 59 to prevent any recurrence.
Yes I agree foul language/anger shouldn't play a part but when your life is put in danger I feel their is some justification.

With that out the way, I would say to the cyclist the following. I did not hear what was said..can you please provide a transcript?
I do think you were being aggressive and confrontational, after the infraction. Whilst I empathise with your frustration over someone driving like this, you have to stay in control - you have to be the bigger man. This to any road user regardless of their choice of transport. You lose your temper and you lose concentration. You also stand a good chance of having your complaint nullified by your own actions as well as your actions brought into question. It all depends on how it unfolds. Some police forces do not want the bother of the paper work and will simply say that because of your aggression they won't do anything even if they could. Iv'e seen this done with drivers and pedestrians making complaints.
You got it on film. Please get a horn and let that do the talking were practicable. Please do not filter up the inside of the lead car, it's better in my opinion to stay behind. Please do not goad people into confrontation on account of their error, it is better to talk first and only become irate if you are threatened. You have to be the bigger man and you have to keep the law on your side.

He didn't pass the cyclist safely due to the lack of room given. Supposed to give the same room as a car. He also appeared to be loitering whilst passing; this through a solid white line. The cyclist then needed to avoid the pot hole and also exercised their legal right to ride primary.
