The issue is not the type of carriage; rather, the manner in which it is operated. Being in a car gives no more entitlement to the roads than being on a bike. In fact bikes are there by right, cars by permission. We still have a long way to go however when it comes to catching up with most of the continent in terms of education..cycling in this country can be extremely frustrating and downright dangerous thanks to the pig-headed idiots in cars and the minority of pig-headed idiots on bikes who also think, they can invent their own rules. Both groups can go take a running jump.
