You've obviously not read the highway code then.
"When taking the first exit to the left, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise:-
•signal left and approach in the left-hand lane
•keep to the left on the roundabout and continue signalling left to leave.
The highway code also dictates that the outer lane is for going straight on or taking the third exit off a roundabout, and not the first exit.
You've obviously not read the highway code then.
