22:37 I'd ban in a heartbeat. Just look at the cunt's attitude on the road..seemingly fleeing like grooming gang member who's just been rumbled. Both that driver and said piece of shit are a danger to kids..and everyone else. Cunts.

13:34 I saw someone try that on a cyclist once in Tipton, Great Bridge. Both were turning left, the car behind (Asian male driver), only the car driver wouldn't wait and tried to intimidate the cyclist with their horn. Cyclist refused to be crushed into the gutter and told them to calm down. Driver comes out with a load of babble and then tries to over-take directly on the junction, into the oncoming lane.

Note: This is a junction that also needs access for ambulances.

There was also a passing police car the cyclist pointed out to, and I think the cop could see what was going on.

Why be dick-head, driver? You blocked the junction and tried to use your car a weapon. You would fail your test for this and for good reason. Stay behind. The cyclist could have gone in any direction and you should not be over-taking there. Pathetic excuse of a driver.

11:32 No wonder that accident happened. Yes the car emerging from the junction should have checked left, but the fact there's an entrance point directly on it does not help. Someone could emerge without warning even if you do look. Furthermore most of the driver's attention (the one exiting the junction) would intrinsically be focused towards their right. All in all a stupid and dangerous road designed encouraging accidents.

02:37 This is why, if you are going to cycle on the pavement, you do so slowly and respectfully. That was neither.

Yes, the car appeared to emerge from the car park at speed, but that doesn't excuse your actions.

Oh, and I ride a bike. On the pavement at times. I realise and respect the fact it's a grey area of the law, down to the discretion of whichever force you come under. Had you hit that car, you would have been found partly responsible for furious cycling, possibly more. In short, don't take the piss out of a law that shows a lot of leeway. Don't be a cycle yob. Don't risk your life and other people's because you don't give a shit.
