Although the driver overtook a little close IMHO (as a former keen cyclist) it wasn't close enough for the cyclist to attempt to challenge the driver.
This cyclist seems to be looking for his 15mins of fame and it's celebrated with a glass of piss.
Don't try so hard cyclist you'll get the viral video soon but if you continue like this it'll probably be where you do get thumped

I would agree if the cyclist stopped to challenge the drivers, but the driver is the one to start spouting shit. It's all on the driver at that point.

The driver was tail-gating and when spoken to churned out abuse. Then made threats. And your threat is also clear, regardless of your attempted level of ambiguity. I suggest you look up "giving cyclists room" and "tail-gating" other road users. While you're at it, look up Section 59 Public Order Offence, if you want. Education is the key. Not subjugating those who stand in the way of people who cannot drive..
