I maybe wrong but looking at this image that car is a pre facelift Audi A3 which would be 52/03 plate at latest so for that to be an 05 it’s been crashed and had pre face lift front end put on or it’s not really that registration, I could be wrong but sure it’s an older Audi, disgraceful behaviour

6 years late, but that’s definitely a cloned plate, it’s a Mk1 A3 from 1996-2002, in 2003 the Mk2 came out and was facelifted in late 2004, so by 2005 it should have been a facelift Mk2 A3
