Reversed into me (pedestrian) whilst crossing road outside work. Blamed me for not looking where I was going, initially refused to provide details. I had crossed 2 lanes of quiet road, he was parked in layby/parking area outside work. Wife stated I had no proof he hit me, but also stated it was not on purpose and should be forgotten.
Will be reporting to police in Bristol in morning...

Other take is that you walked behind a reversing car. Had this once where I was half way out reversing out of a bay at a shop and a woman, previously unseen because of the way she had approached, walked across my path then screamed blue murder and started hitting my car. I should have given her a good slap but who knows, she might have plastered me all over the internet like you have done.
