Old one this.
Action starts at 0:20 with undertaking red fiat. Then he undertakes someone else who reacts less well than cam car and tries to run fiat off the road.
Moving to the left automatically when there is an upcoming slip road for example is not good driving. In fact Red Fiat displays that perfectly.
Cam car is in right lane as there is slowing traffic in the left lane indicating to leave.
Cam car remains in the right lane, a safe distance behind the car in front, passing another vehicle on the left and probably also alert to the joining slip road ahead.
Cam car remains in right lane, a safe distance from the duelling vehicles ahead and preparing to be in the correct lane when the traffic ahead starts queueing for a roundabout.
Red car shows no such road-reading skills. Implying that the cam car is an MGIF and in the wrong suggests you need to hand in your licence ASAP.
but I see several MGIF lane hogging cars in the overtaking lane (including dashcam driver)
As per my understanding of the highway code - once you've overtaken the vehicle return to lane 1 until you need to overtake the next vehicle.
But so many just can't be arsed and piss off other rivers and when someone retaliates (stupidly) some attempt to criticise the stupid driver without looking at all the facts.
No I'm not condoning the undertake or the cutting up of the other vehicle
But if we had less MGIF lane hoggers our roads would be more pleasing to drive
The silver car driver would have been OK with me had they not reacted the way they did. Shit like this costs lives.
