I cycle and drive, and drive more than I cycle. The driver of the car is entirely in the wrong here, and he has no right to encroach onto the cycle area like that, and the cyclist has every rogjt to complain (just like you'd beep your horn if someone pulled out in front of you).

Idiot driver should be liable for any damage to the bike. It was a collision, so he should have pulled up and exchanged details if need be.

That made my day. This cyclist is a well known prick around the Stockwell Kennington Balham areas. its a shame it wasn't your head he ran over.

The driver was wrong to go over the line but it is NOT up to you to Police this.
Why not just carry on your day without looking for confrontation ...... sorry ..... what's that? ..... you have a what?? a CAMERA! oh silly me.
Carry on, we'll look out for the footage of it being stuck up your ass.

Yes he had stopped over the line and into the cycle box but it looks like you were trying to cause a reaction, which you got. Many car drivers are dangerous to cyclists but use your brain and look after yourself. Unfortunately cyclist usually come off worse than car drivers so just let it go.

100% agreed.
If the car had pulled up behind him and hit him in the first place then fine, have a go back..
Why some people go looking for trouble these days is baffling.
Some car drivers carry knives (or even guns) these days and NO camera is going to save you then.

As the driver of an incredibly slow moving vehicle, legal or not, why would you undertake and position yourself directly on front of a fast moving vehicle?

Stop cycling like a prick and maybe someday someone will have sympathy for you.

Because that is where you are supposed to be at a junction to allow you to negotiate it safely without getting cut up. That is the whole reason advanced cycle lines exist to allow this.

I don't suppose you noticed the road markings at the lights and the ASL?

Also do you understand the Highway Code and the subject of filtering?

I'm hoping you didn't because if you did then that comment of yours just won the Internet's Most Stupidest Answer of the day award

The driver of this car bumped into a cyclist at a set of traffic lights and then ran over his bike before driving off and waving.

Just look how many collisions he almost caused by manoeuvering and opening his car door without looking or even noticing the passing cyclists, motorcyclists and other vehicles.

"Moron Alert! - BMW Driver Runs Over My Bike Twice Y36OJM @QPark_UK"

The cyclist who uploaded the video said in the description; "Stopping in the bike box, right in front of his car was enough for him to try running me over TWICE."

The number plate displayed on this car reads "Y360 JM" but the correct format is actually "Y36 OJM".

It appears the driver of the car may work for Q-Park Car Parks in London.

Rob, I'm sure it has been reported to the police, in addition to being shared online. It's not one or the other!

Surley it would make more sense to report this to the police rather than complain about it online.
