I am saddened to see that this van was illegally parked this morning in Hilsea Ward, and when one of my own Copnor residents (and probably many others from the local area) needed to cross the road in her wheelchair, wasn't able to and had to demount the kerb into the road, and nearly fell from her wheel chair. She reported it straight to myself and I've reported onto the authorities and checked out the road this morning.

The van is now gone, but please, have some consideration for residents, especially our disabled, vulnerable and elderly residents who rely on dropped curbs to cross the road.

I'm sure you'll agree with me that this is inconsiderate and not to mention illegally parked on two accounts and making peoples lives more difficult and putting them at risk too.

Please be a bit more neighbourly, abide by the law and consider others.
