I drive a car and ride a motorcycle in London, occasionally I also cycle. I simply do not understand what this driver's problem is.. he should be ashamed of himself. He should also be careful with that attitude.. luckily this time he came across someone who was passive; not everyone is like that. Things would be better for him if he didn't go around looking for trouble..

Tried to kill you?? Did I miss that bit??
Do you realise the circumstances in which you are legally allowed to sound your horn?
Put this down to experience and learn the lessons from it.

"just ignore the child" Care to practice what you preach?
You seem unable to ignore me. YUM YUM.
Troll or not The driver did NOT try to kill him (you) as he suggests on the video.

Folks, Rab's just a troll. His favourite method is to try and go off on some kind of antagonistic, benign tangent whereby he focusses most if not all his energies on the person filming.. especially if they're on two wheels. Just ignore the child..

Why did you go down the middle of the two lanes when there is a centre of the road option?

I agree with the driver.

You are trying to squeeze through a narrow gap not wide enough to accommodate your bike. You are correct to say that filtering is legal but let's be frank, what you are doing is irresponsible.
Another thing. you were aggressively revving your bike in annoyance. Tut Tut.

If you want to be safe, be patient and wait in line like everyone else!!!!!

17:11:04 "The car driver was wrong but his actions were a consequence of yours." His actions weren't a consequence.. nobody was forcing him to brake the law. The rider was clearly ahead, filtering. Likewise nobody forced the driver to act like a complete moron afterwards. Well, he wanted attention, right? And now the whole world can see him getting it.. I feel sorry for his family if that's the kind of person he is.

Sonny, you are entitled to your opinion naturally. However that doesn't change what the driver did and nor does it excuse his abuse.

You put yourself in that situation.

So in your opinion that justifies assault and dangerous driving?

Driver is in the wrong but rider needs to learn his riding manner, revving and use of the horn is seen as aggressive 'get out of my way' behaviour.

me2u2me, there was plenty of room beside the black car to filter carefully, which is what the rider appeared to be doing. When the rider stopped he was clearly well ahead of the black car. There is another rider ahead doing exactly the same. Indeed, the Highway Code specifically mentions cyclists and motorcyclists filtering. However before the cars in front have even began moving, the driver tries to box the cyclist in..there, right there; the driver is culpable and displayed a complete disregard for the welfare of others. He then acts like an immature moron throwing his little rattle out his pram. I hope the police have caught up with him after he assaulted the rider and refused to stop at the scene of an accident. I also hope his verbal assault warrants at least a Section 59 Public Order offence - he brought all this one himself.

Driver is in the wrong here. The rider was clearly in front of him, filtering. Driver proceeded forwards and ran over the rider. Driver then turns abusive the moment he's spoken to. His "third lane" reference is completely irrelevant.. riders can filter, what part of that doesn't he understand?

His disregard for human life and refusal to act like an adult should land him in court and off the road. He is a danger to the public.

Have to agree with the majority and that is

You can filter when it is safe to do so - IMHO there was insufficient gap to filter and your "aggressive" revving and use of horn is not necessary.

That said the driver needs further driver awareness training - he is not the law - he doesn't own the road

Not voting as regd number is incorrect AFAIK
