I'm sorry, but why on earth should I have to move across 4 lanes of traffic just overtaking someone that can't pick the correct lane? If my lane is clear, I'm continuing in my lane. My action was not dangerous and did not endanger this driver so therefore your argument of dangerous driving is invalid. His reaction afterwards was completely unnecessary.
Lane hoggers really frustrate me and I see no reason to move across 2 lanes of traffic and then move back again (potentially more dangerous than passing on the left).

Sat hogging the middle lane for no reason whatsoever and when I come past him on the left he lays on the horn and starts flashing his lights at me and flips me off. Clearly lane hogging on purpose! If people are able to pass you on the left, you're in the wrong lane. Move over!

Sorry but legally your worse than him if you overtook on the left, in the photo there is nothing in the right lane so why didn't you use that lane to pass? His crime is lane-hogging which has a max penalty of £100 fine and 3 points, your crime however is dangerous drivering which carry a penalty of up to 9 points, a disqualification and £5000 fine. Two wrongs don't make a right, even more so when your wrong is a lot worse than his.
